FUN For The Whole Family!!

Before Jeff Langerdoft, AKA Jeff Lang, became a Dad and bought a house and raised some kids he loves, Jeff had this crazy idea of a book about space aliens. It was more than an idea, it was a complete story that involved a ‘magnet of life’ a giant space cat aircraft, some cosmic crew members, some magic potions and the battle between good and evil.  

Over the years this idea, flash of inspiration, has been turning into a six series book entitled ‘Exit the Stars.’ One section, or chapter of the book, ‘The Witch Doctors from Mars’ has become a two-act musical with the help of co-author, Maggie Gautier, and a band of fabulous musicians and artists. (Radio Mars. ) As an artist and musician, Jeff kept busy with music as a writer and performer, theatre actor and writer, producer, promoter, and raising a family.  Jeff was producing videos, booking bands, playing in a band, joined ASCAP, started a music publishing company he named Radio Mars Music Music, won awards and even traveled to Europe to perform in a pop band. 

His focus over the last couple of years has been the writing and recording the music for the musical, ‘The Witch Doctors from Mars.’  The show has provided Jeff with the perfect format to incorporate all that he has learned and loved over his life as an artist.  The list is long as to what he has done.  

The best way to check out his work, is to take a listen to the latest collaboration with Maggie Gautier and go on the ride to Mars (and the exploration of the life underground) in the original two-act Musical, The Witch Doctors from Mars. 

MAGGIE GAUTIER:

Art and Music, specifically musicals saved her life.  Maggie wrote, produced, and starred in her first play; an adaptation of Cinderella called Cinderbaby when she was eleven years old.  Since then she has written three musicals, wrote and starred in over a dozen one-woman shows, and worked for, and with an independent film production company all while picking up a pen and writing songs. 

Maggie holds a B.A. Degree in Arts and Entertainment Management, Columbia College, Chicago, IL.  She studied Musical Theatre Workshop, three years with John Sparks @ New Tuners, Chicago, after her niece asked her to write a musical she could relate to, and had improvisational theatre training with Mark Nutter while in Chicago. 

Maggie met Jeff at the annual ASCAP Musical Theatre Presentation in Los Angeles and they have worked together for a couple of years to bring yet, another new musical to the world.  

DANIELLE NICOLE 

In recalling the wonderful invitation to collaborate, Danielle was excited to join Maggie and Jeff when she learned they were looking to create short videos for their Original, Two-Act, Science-Fiction Musical of The Witch Doctors From Mars, and needed some tech help.

With a background in Audio/Visual Engineering, theatrical / film productions, and a hint of television broadcasting, Danielle "accepted her mission" with enthusiasm to collaborate on a symbolic presentation of the musical. 

Danielle was given an opportunity to share her gifts with the technical support and web design assistance, while planning with Maggie and Jeff in their mission to launch all social media platforms for "Control Song" and "Sugar Love".

 Danielle has thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of collaborating and working alongside Jeff and Maggie, and is looking forward to what new adventures are in store for her and the Cosmic Crew!
